Yogi diet to eliminate toxins

Yogi dietAs you know, the detoxification is one of the most important functions for maintaining good health, as this process will expel all the waste and harmful substances that accumulate in the body.

Furthermore, given that very few people keep eating 100% healthy, practice little exercise and are exposed to multiple types of pollution, income and production of toxins in humans today is great.

For these reasons, it is helpful to have a system to detoxify the body in a healthy and safe. So, I'll spend some tips I found in Coastal Living magazine (No. 9, Editor Polo, 2011) to lead a yogi diet to eliminate toxins.

Some aspects of diet yogi

This diet emphasizes only the consumption of vegetables and fruits to allow optimal detoxification of the body, to which is added the intake of tea known yoga, an infusion made of spices that are a powerful stimulant and energizing the body.

And although it is a completely natural diet, many people may find it difficult to follow to the letter within 15 days of treatment; they may find it boring and not enough to satiate your appetite.

You just have to get used to and to have self-control. Remember that after those two weeks of sacrifice, you have an organization completely revitalized and ready to go back to eating normal foods ... if they are healthy!

How to detoxify the body with diet yogi

Breakfast

As soon as you get up, grab a cup of cold water first. Later, you can have breakfast with up to ½ liter of juice of carrots, oranges, celery and green apple. But note that here we do not mean processed fruits with water, but their juice extracted through a juice processor preferably.

This can also accompany it with an infusion made from herbs such as chamomile or Boldo.

Mid-morning

Approximately half the time between breakfast and lunch you should eat a small salad of kiwi fruit based, 2 apples and some fruit in season.

Lunch

You probably know little, but it's a sacrifice you must do. For lunch, diet yogi proposes salad green vegetables (cucumbers, lettuce, celery, watercress, spinach, and arugula) and can dress it with olive oil, mustard, lemon, and even a bit of salt without sodium.

You could also eat a vegetable cream soup, but this time prohibiting the salt. And if you do not like the soup, you can opt for steamed vegetables, served with a little ginger.

Picnic

This meal is one of the strengths of the Diet Yogi, since it is based purely on yogic tea consumption, which you need to prepare the following ingredients:

  • 15 seeds of black pepper
  • 2 cinnamon bark
  • 15 seeds of cardamom
  • 2 tablespoons black tea
  • Crushed ginger, unpeeled

To prepare the yogic tea you boil in 1 or 2 liters ginger, cinnamon and pepper and cardamom seeds for a ¼ of an hour.

Now place the black tea in a strainer and filter some of you have prepared for him, allowing the yogic tea black tea enriched with falling back into the container.

Served upon yogic tea can add milk, always rich in nutrients and a little honey for sweetness.

Dinner

To end the day we recommend taking a stew of vegetables.

In addition to following all meals exactly, the detoxifying effect of this regime will be much stronger if you accompany the practice of physical activity daily, and drink plenty of fluids , either water, tea or juice.

But as you noticed, the Yogi Diet has a strong diuretic effect, so it is advisable to consult your family doctor or dietitian before embarking on this diet, and avoid any possible complication.
