Myths of agingNo one can stop aging , is part of our nature and all the time we are in full aging . That's why this is an issue for everyone, is of great interest and there are many myths that have been invented on aging.




Here in Makeufits we talked about old age on several occasions and we teach from the causes of premature aging to some of the foods that rejuvenate more effective.

But to expand our knowledge of this inevitable situation and learn all what you did not know about aging , today I prepared this list of some of the biggest myths of aging disclosed.

As you age you become senile

Many people believe that with aging one is going to become senile and that it is practically inevitable, but in reality, it is not as simple and damning.

When you age obviously you can forget something or other and that of course there is deterioration in cognitive abilities of the brain however, the stereotype of old is long gone senile.

Several studies suggest that vitamin deficiencies may be influencing some of the symptoms of senility. Maintain a proper diet, especially in old age can make a difference.

The creams and moisturizers rejuvenate skin

Although every time we hear about the rejuvenation of the skin by using moisturizing creams and other products, there is nothing to really back the younger cells.

Scientific studies have found that what actually happens is that these topical products like different sera in the market affect the cell turnover of the epidermis, causing the upper layers look fresher and stretch the skin that looks younger.

The skin does not travel in time by using creams, but it may be better to be properly hydrated, stay healthy with good nutrition and healthier to guard against UV rays.

As you get older it is harder to lose weight

The myth that as we get older it is becoming harder to lose those extra kilos, is false. Many elderly people tend to believe this because despite being by dieting as indicated and do everything right for losing excess weight, they fail to meet their goals.

The truth is that many of these people do not realize that most medications are often prescribed for older adults are associated with weight gain or have this feature among its side effects. In a case like this, it is best to talk to your doctor and together find the best alternative.

Eating as a teenager

Many people mistakenly believe that the longer feed themselves as they did when they were teenagers, will stay healthier. Perhaps it is one of the biggest myths about food and old age but the truth is that eating habits and nutritional needs of the times in life do change.

While one is young is fed in a way, as an adult of another and when it enters old age in yet another. In this case, have the need to feed more or less than at other times of life, is natural and while the food is healthy and appropriate, do not force eating strange unless a medical professional so determines.

In old age should be put aside physical activity

Exercise and physical activity are often left out as there is a wrong concept that it is believed that these activities can injure the elderly.

The truth is that few things are as healthy as exercise in old age and any type of physical activity such as walking in the park, jogging, swimming or going to the gym, it is always much better than staying at home, especially at this age.
