There are many diseases caused by bacteria , with some very serious such as meningitis, although fortunately most bacterial infections can be eliminated by antibiotics, thus contributing to population health and even save lives.
Bacteria are responsible for common diseases like colds, flu, pneumonia, cholera, syphilis, leprosy, typhus, tuberculosis, and can cause a wound infection or inflammation and irritation of throat and ear.
