Lack of sleep could bring cardiovascular
The question of optimal sleep duration is somewhat controversial. Not that generated controversy, but that varies from person to person, there are people who sleep only four hours to others who extend their sleep up to ten hours.
The little sleep or sleeping too much is not a trivial problem. May have important consequences, since according to a study at the Medical University of Warwick found that people who sleep less than five hours are 1.7 times more likely to suffer a heart attack than people who sleep seven hours.
Analyzing 10,000 state workers, Francesco Cappuccio and other scientists in charge of the investigation, concluded that there is a double risk of cardiovascular death in those who do not devote enough time to sleep.
The reasons for this are unclear, but the study points to be noted that lack of sleep is directly related to high blood pressure, a decisive factor when it comes to heart attack.
This conclusion profoundly affects the population, since a third of UK residents and 40% in the United States less than five hours sleep a day.
The demands of modern life often put people at a crossroads, having to cut hours of sleep to assume their responsibilities. This item counts as a warning, and aims to point out that sleeping little and not only cause fatigue and poor performance, but also generates cardiovascular problems.
