We think and keep thinking all the time, so our thoughts have a lot to do with what we feel and believe. Many of our thoughts come from what we have told our parents and family since childhood, which greatly influences our self-esteem, but we are taking control of what we say every minute and use to our advantage.
So in Makeufits you ask the question what you say to yourself. And we'll tell you what you can do to use your thoughts to feel better and live a fuller life.
The power of thought
What we think strongly influences how we feel, as we constantly repeat affirmations in the end we ended up believing. We have all experienced at some point what happens when we do go well confident that, in contrast to what occurs when we go with the mindset that we will not be able to do. This is just one example of what happens in everyday life.
Is this focus on what psychologists to help us change our thinking so that we can live better and eliminate or control many of our problems?
If you look at what you're thinking of retiring and worry a little about yourself, you can see what you're telling yourself. You suddenly find that you are saying harmful things that do not you tell people you love. If you allow yourself to hurt, probably unconsciously, you can change that in order to be able to develop your full potential in all aspects. As we work to be better academically, we can be better in terms of our emotions and develop emotional intelligence in all its aspects.
Some examples of negative statements that we repeat often:
- I'm ugly / ugly, I'm dumb / stupid, I deserve something good.
- I will not be able to achieve, I'm bad for that, I can not do for myself.
- I depend on others to be happy, if I'm not worth loving, or if I do something worthless.
The afford to keep grudges or constantly relive a traumatic event also hurts us and negativity, anger and the thought that we will not be able to do something with our lives.
What are the consequences of negative thinking?
If we keep thinking negatively fall into a state of sadness and hopelessness, we will have a negative view of life (where you feel a victim), you are pessimistic (not see that you can succeed), you will have pity and fall into a state of think depression where you depend on the circumstances and people around you, without seeing that you yourself can do many things to change your life to where you want to.
What do I have to say?
It depends on each of their life goals, whatever you want to say and want to do, but for all it's good that we can have a positive attitude that we love ourselves and others, you feel good as we are (or we want things to be like, becoming healthy physically and psychologically), we feel emotionally balanced, enthusiastic and eager to do things, without anxiety and have the tools to deal with situations that come.
Work for you
We must take responsibility for ourselves. It depends on us what we can do and how to deal with situations emotionally able to work to take risks and grow, not stay in the past, to assert your rights and to live fully.
You can tell yourself things like:
- I can, I am able, I'm smart, many people want me, I like the way I am (or am I doing things to improve the aspects that I do not like).
- I can handle situations, I will go well, I can do what I propose.
- If you are thinking small goals each day and strive to do things for better living'll see how you feeling well and things are going as you want.
