Rules For Summer Training

With the arrival of warm weather often our training is affected by heat or humidity, and to train in summer is not the same as doing for the rest of the year ... The heat and humidity are a problem if we continue with our regular training, primarily because of the strong dehydration suffered by the body to make sport in these times.

Most often, if not follow training rules different from




the usual summer, if we exercise as if there were no sun, we will finally have clear symptoms of heat exhaustion or heat stroke, they include dizziness, nausea, increased body temperature, rapid pulse, cramps, excessive feeling of thirst or worst of all having a blackout.

To avoid having to go through this situation we want to leave you a few tips for training when the heat and humidity pinch:

Hydration is the key to any athlete who physically active in hot and humid days, if we can not avoid the hours of sunlight, keep in mind that to properly hydrate we should take a pint of water two hours before physical activity and constantly hydrated during the meeting.

Obviously if you can avoid times where the sun shines in all its glory is to avoid doing sport for 12 hours and 17 hours, on the other side always try to do outdoor sports, and if not so sure that the place with adequate ventilation.

The intensity of exercise should be low, i.e. we can not expect to exercise extreme high temperatures because the sickness is assured, if you work in an extreme way, we should do in the morning or afternoon or evening.

Finally it is good to have light meals before exercise and of course take a balanced menu, because the salads are good but remember you do not provide such carbohydrates or proteins, so the support must fill these gaps.

Well these tips to train in summer should not pose any problem for your daily physical activity.
